This Privacy Policy describes how Mercio (the "Application" or "Service") handles data when You use the Service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about data practices.

Key Point: Mercio does not require a user account and does not ask for or store your name, email address, phone number, or other information that directly identifies you. The Application uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for usage analytics and RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions.

1. Data Collection and Storage

Local Data Storage

Where applicable, the Application may store app preferences, progress, saved items, settings, or other app-related information locally on your device.

This locally stored data:

• Remains on your device unless a feature specifically requires communication with a third-party service described in this Privacy Policy
• Is not stored by us in a personal user account
• May be deleted when you uninstall the Application or clear the Application's data

No User Accounts or Personal Contact Information

The Application does not require you to register or create an account. We do not ask for or store:

• Name, email address, or phone number
• Login credentials
• Postal address
• Contacts
• Precise location
• Payment card or banking information

2. Third-Party Analytics

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

The Application uses Google Analytics 4 to collect usage and technical information. This helps us understand how users interact with the Application and improve its features, usability, and performance.

3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

RevenueCat

Mercio uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, purchase status, and access to paid features.

RevenueCat may process information necessary to provide these services, including:

• Anonymous or pseudonymous app user identifiers
• Purchase and subscription status
• Product identifiers
• Transaction information provided by the relevant app store
• App and device-related technical information

Mercio does not require a RevenueCat account from you and does not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address, or other personal contact information.

Payments are processed by the platform through which you obtained the Application, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive or store your credit card number, bank details, or other payment credentials.

RevenueCat processes information according to its own Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising and Tracking

Mercio does not display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs to serve advertisements or create advertising profiles.

We do not use information collected by Mercio to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.

5. Your Privacy Rights and Controls

Device-Level Privacy Controls

You can manage certain privacy and application settings through your device's operating system settings where such controls are available.

Local Data Deletion

To remove locally stored Application data, you may uninstall Mercio or clear its application data through your device settings.

Subscription management and purchase history are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and can be managed through your relevant store account.

6. Third-Party Services

The Application currently uses the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) - application analytics
• RevenueCat - in-app purchase and subscription management
• Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store - application distribution and payment processing

These third-party services may process technical or transaction-related information according to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their privacy policies for more information about their data practices.

7. Children's Privacy

Mercio does not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or other information that directly identifies children. The Application does not require registration or the submission of personal contact information in order to use the Service.

Third-party services used by the Application may process limited technical information as described in this Privacy Policy.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to minimize the information processed by Mercio and the third-party services integrated into the Application. Mercio does not maintain a user account database containing names, email addresses, passwords, or payment information.

Information processed by third-party services is protected according to the security practices and privacy policies of those providers.
